School Garden...

Staplecross Methodist Primary School had been searching for a space to garden in for some time and had been unsuccessful. Staplecross Shrub & Garden Centre thought we should help and create a garden especially for the school children and donate it to them.

It has four separate large beds, a green house, a tool / potting shed and will be shaded by the newly planted trees on the end and softened by the laurels on each side. The children have already started planting climbers and bulbs and have started weeding. School Garden

About the School

The school has only 58 children between the ages of 4 and 11. Head teacher Liz with the help of some parents brings them over in groups of 5 or 6 children after the school day has ended on a weekly basis.

If you would like to help by a donation of a plant, garden tool (new or used) or anything else please call the head teacher Liz Avard on 01580 830256 or email: head@staplecross.e-sussex.sch.uk
